Toys and Games Reviews of What's Yours Like? The Game That Tells It Like It Is.Customer Review: Bad party game Summary: 2 Stars
Our game group usually ends a session with a light party game such as "Say Anything" or "Wits and Wagers". I bought "What's Yours Like" as something different in the same vein. Three times around the table and we put it away.
Example: The clue is "My Favorite Vacation". Clues were "Mine is tropical" and "Mine involved two people". Eventually the guesser came up with "holidays"? Well...not exactly.
We wound up pulling out "Apples to Apples" which isn't a good game but is better than this one.
Customer Review: Lots of better games out there Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this and Say Anything because they both had 4+ stars at the time with good review comments, but I'm disappointed with both. I love playing games like Apples to Apples, Mad Gab, Pictionary, Gestures, etc, these 2 games just didn't hold a candle to either. Everyone was bored within a few minutes. You want to give clues but you don't want them to guess right away so it makes it either too hard or way to easy. There's no middle I thought. I wouldn't waste my money on them.
Customer Review: Good for most groups Summary: 5 Stars
We played with about a dozen people. Our friends are not terribly competitive, so we just used the card for a subject. Then we went around the circle giving ever more increasingly revealing clues. We were all very kind and understanding of the differing ages of the players. Had so much fun, I ordered the game. Someone else in the group gave it for a gift. Highly recommend the game for fun and laughs!
Customer Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
We love this game. It's funny how hard it can be guess something simple when the clues are vague. I would guess it's probably more fun w/ all adults, or at least older kids, because I could see kids' clues making the answers too easy to guess, and that's the fun part. You're supposed to be clever but honest w/ your description, and the guesses can be pretty amusing.
Customer Review: The greatest party game! Summary: 5 Stars
We played this game with 10 people and laughed till we could not breath. It gets your mind working on how to describe something without the usual words that would give it away. It's loads of fun for all age groups!! It's easy to set up and get started, no long drawn out instructions to read . Most of all...it makes us all laugh and that's a good thing!
