I wasn't 100% sure that I would be pleased with this, based on a couple of negative reviews, but I am very pleased and more importantly, my 3 year olds are really enjoying it. I would not necessarily consider this a good 'travel' toy, which is what one of the negative reviews was about, but I think looking at the picture of the contents, one would assume that with all the small puzzle pieces, it probably isn't the best car toy! The foam pieces are sturdy, and the cardboard lacing cards are thicker and sturdier than I expected. Also, beads and cards have nice large holes that are easier to manipulate than other stringing beads I've had. My children and I are very pleased!

Kids can use the 25-piece "locktagon" construction set to build imaginative shapes and structures. Three lacing and tracing cards come with long, grippable threads to keep hands and eyes busy. A 27-piece puzzle teaches kids letters and their sequence in the alphabet. The pieces to four round, "fit-a-space puzzles" help children learn their shapes while doubling as fun pieces to string together. The tracing cards are made of durable chipboard while the rest of the kit is created from a nearly indestructible bumpy crepe rubber that's fun to touch and manipulate.
