Toys and Games Reviews of Pacific Play Tents Super Duper 4 Kids TentCustomer Review: Great indoor toy and great value too! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this tent for my 5yr old who just recently broke his foot. We were scrambling for ideas and activities that didn't require lots of movement for his foot. Not only did this tent encourage independent play, but since he was already crawling around all over the floor anyway(becasue of his cast) this was just perfect! And an added bonus is that there are flaps where you can add the tunnels for crawling through and there is a 'lip' to the tent so if you want to add balls for playtime, you can do that too. We found a construction themed rug at our local Wal-Mart that is just about the same size as the 'floor' of this tent and so we put the rug inside and I didn't see my son for hours (although I could still hear him just fine!)!!! He was having a great time. Another bonus was that it's $10.00 LESS online at Amazon that it is at the Toys R Us store AND that's WITH the free shipping!!! It got here super quick too- just in a matter of days and arrived UPS. All in all, this was the best purchase I made since he broke his foot. Not only has it kept him entertained, but I imagine it will in the years too come- even dad kind of enjoyed it- they're planning on camping-out in the living room!!!
Customer Review: Simply fun Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this tent for my 6 year old for Christmas. She and her siblings love it. I also bought a pretend and play camp set (learning resources). They pretend camping with fires, smores, band-aids, chopping, cutting, hiking around the house, etc...My kids are 10,8, and 6. The tent serves as a fun way for them all to play together. The older kids help with making maps, setting up scavenger hunts, and suggesting fun pretend things for the younger ones. Our cat also enjoys being the big bear that is hunting for food at the campsite. Sometimes they just use the tent as a hide out to play cards or the girls will play stuffed animals.
I was very pleased with the quality. I have spent more for less on this type of toy in the past. It is sturdy enough to be dragged up and down our basement steps by the kids. It is a good size for even adults to join in with 4 at a time. I would highly recommend this toy. It has already offered hours of creative fun.
Customer Review: The Kids Love It! Summary: 5 Stars
We purchased this as a late birthday present for our children and they love it! We currently have it indoors to prolong the life of the tent. It is very easy to set up and provides hours of playtime fun. It is much more durable than I thought it'd be, as the kids have rolled it all around the livingroom (while mom wasn't looking)and played in it for hours on end. I see that it has an attachable tunnel that you can purchase separately for it, and I'm considering doing that. Even the dog has fun sitting inside of this. LOL And I love that they can sleep in it overnight if they choose to as well. Overall we love this and it was the perfect choice for our children.
Customer Review: Great tent for the money! Summary: 4 Stars
We ordered this bright-colored tent for our three-year-old son. He had six friends over to play and they had a blast running in and out of it. The tent is the perfect place for imaginative play, because the sky's limit on what can be done inside. It's just the right size for indoor play. Once it gets a little warmer, we are looking forward to using it in the backyard.
Setting it up the first time was a little tricky. It didn't come with instructions. Now that we know how it comes together, it should be easier in the future.
For our family, this was a great purchase. We couldn't be happier with the product.
Customer Review: Great addition to our sunroom! Summary: 5 Stars
My 7-year-old girl outgrew her toddler tent long ago. But her love of forts and tents forged on! She built her own, with the usual blankets, chairs, duct tape, etc. But they were just too small, too. When I bought her this tent and put it together yesterday, I knew when she saw it, she'd love it. And she did. She has decorated it with a pillow, a blanket, her DSi, a flashlight and books. There is plenty of room for two 7-year-olds to play. About putting it together--no instructions. Yet I could figure it out just by looking at the picture on the box. A wonderful toy, perfect for feeding the imagination.
