We bought this tent as a special "room" for our son when we have guests over (since his room doubles as the guest bedroom) and for inside our bigger tent when camping. It is super easy to set-up, is large enough for a small child, and gets good ventilation. My only complaint is that the floor does not get very tight. This may be fixed if used outside and staked; we have never done that.
Excellent use - inside a larger tent. We went camping one night that the temperature was going to hit low 40s. Our son, 14 months, will not keep a blanket over himself to save his life. Our solution was to drape a very large blanket over the top of the tent to act as an insulator. We used a foam crate mat (yes for a dog) on the floor, and our little guy slept great! In the morning the only part of him that was cold a hand that had snuck out of the tent during the night.
