It was pretty easy to assemble, but we tried to use it for the beach with our 4 month old and it wasn't a success. It kept blowing away, wasn't 100% sun protection and it was hot inside. When it blew away we got sand all over the little guy - which was a BUMMER! It would be nice if it had little pockets on the side so you could shovel sand into it. For an infant and beach use, not the best purchse for us. Probably good for parks and when it is a bit cooler.Customer Review: Great Protection

Lightweight and compact, this tent was a perfect accessory for our one-year-old in her first time at the beach. She was able to sleep in it as well as crawl in and out of it. It was even tall enough so that I could sit in it with her. The tent isn't staked to the ground, so a good breeze can blow it away, but I just put her heavy diaper bag in there and we had no problems. It also had mesh sides so a nice breeze flowed through it, relieving some of the heat.Customer Review: Lifesaver at the beach!!!

I bought this tent online to take to the beach. It was our first trip with our 6 month old. She loved it! The mesh sides allowed the breeze to blow through and cleaning it out was easy. Just pick it up and shake out the sand. it was also very easy to assemble. I did it by myself everyday and it only took a couple of minutes. It was even large enough for our 7 year old to climb in with his little sister when he got too hot. It was a great purchase.Customer Review: nice play tent

I purchased this tent for use by my parent's pool during the summer. I thought it would be a nice place for my baby to hang out, while being shaded. Unfortunately, both of my kids never wanted to be left alone in it, and would cry when placed in it. An older child could easily "break out" of the velcro door closure. I will say that it has been a favorite for my now 4 year old...she loves playing in the tent now that she is older.Customer Review: Works well for 1 1/2 & younger

I bought this when my daughter was barely 1 in hopes to use it at the beach or outside with her. We never used it until she was about 1 1/2 and I set it up in her room to play with which she found entertaining. However, a friend has borrowed it several times for her 4-6 month old. It works great for her to use in the yard while hanging out with friends & family...kinda a bug-proof, crawl/roll away proof, semi-shaded playpin!
