Customer Review: Not for the active baby, but good for the little ones

During our annual trip to SoCal, our son was just starting to crawl at 7mos. I picked up this tent so he'd have some refuge from the sun and could nap inside.
I had also hoped he's be able to play as well, but half the time he was interested in pushing against the mesh walls, which withstood his efforts, but I don't think they would have if he was a month older.
This is definitely a good tent for the immobile or barely mobile baby to hang out in if you're on a beach vacation.
I suppose if you hold on to it long enough, it'll make for a good play area when they're a little older and don't want to pull up on everything.
Decent quality of construction and ease of portability.

If I had realized it had velcro closures, about 10 inches apart, I would not have purchased this product, and did not realize I had clicked on the option to purchase with next day shipping until I received the confirmation email. Meanwhile I had found others I wanted, although more expensive. In print the Amazon site says no changes can be made on next day orders, so it arrived on time, as usual, but did not work for my purposes since it did not have a zipper closure. It has not been used but I paid as much for shipping as I did for the item, since I could not stop the shipment. I am otherwise very pleased with all other Amazon orders and shipments I have received.Customer Review: What fun it is!

I researched thoroughly to find a tent that could be used inside and out. Finally I decided on Lil Nursery's tent, and I couldn't be happier. It was easy to set up and is a nice size (my seven month old will be able to grow into it). My little guy has fun rolling around, making the tent's floor crinkle and crackle. By the way, the floor is so easy to clean! Excessive drool, spit-up, or diaper leaks are no problem to wipe right up. The tent's mesh sides keep the air flowing, so there's no overheated baby inside when we're outside, and the top of the tent blocks the sun's rays well. I'm glad my research pointed me to this tent!Customer Review: My child too old

I agree with another review written my daughter is 15 months old and Toys R Us recommended this toy for ages 3-36 months so I got it for her to get in and use when I go to the beach in a couple of weeks. I put it together to try it out and found out that the doors close with velcro. I put my daughter in and within two minutes she was out, which I dont think will be much help on the beach wish it was a zipper instead. It is however a good idea for little babies, I went last year to the beach when she was only 7 months and had to cart around the pack and play which was a pain and getting it on the plane was a pain as well.Customer Review: nice sun protection for baby

We purchased this for our 7-month-old for our vacation to Crete. We really liked the sun protection it offered our little girl as well as providing her with an un-sandy place for her to play with her toys on the beach. It also fold up easily for travel and set-up it simple and fast. On very windy days it is not suitable (or safe), however. It is not weighted at all and cannot be secured to the ground so other than the weight of the baby there is nothing to prevent the tent from literally blowing away. Overall, it's a very useful product. We plan to use it for a few years to come.
