Customer Review: fun, but not very durable

This tunnel was purchased for a 1 year old. She has been the only "tunneler" to date since receiving it in early December. It hasn't gotten a lot of use, as she is in day care during the week, although when she does play in it she really enjoys it. Six weeks after receiving it, I noticed that the nylon encasing the hoops was wearing thin (actually breaking through in a few places.) Full disclosure: no carpeting here, only hardwood floors. A better design would have padding around the metal hoops. I have seen tunnels with padded hoops and was hoping to find that kind (I thought it would be softer to crawl on) to no avail. They may be out there, but in all of my online searches I have never found mention of padded hoops.

Collapses down for easy storage. Solid blue color.Children love places to play where parents can't follow them. This 6-foot tunnel fills that desire perfectly, and lasts as long as it needs to. The 19-inch diameter tunnel is constructed of spring steel with a 70 denier nylon cover and will attach to the front or side windows of any Pacific Play Tent.
