Toys and Games Reviews of Backseat Drawing GameCustomer Review: Backseat Drawing... like Pictionary with a twist! Summary: 5 Stars
Though not a winner of the coveted Mensa Select seal, Out of the Box Publishing Backseat Drawing Game was an entry at the 2009 Mensa Mind Games. Of all the games I reviewed that weekend, this is one of the ones I knew my family would enjoy the most. Once I got home, I bought Out of the Box Publishing Backseat Drawing Game and it has been a BIG hit with the family! So far those playing here at home have been two guys (ages 19 and 47) and three girls (ages 13, 19 and 38).
Out of the Box Publishing Backseat Drawing Game is somewhat on the order of Pictionary, but with a definite twist... The person drawing has no clue what the answer is! One player from each team gets to see the answer and then has to instruct their partner on what to draw, without using words to make it obvious what the answer is. The artist and any other team members then have to decipher the drawing and come up with the correct answer. This game is a LOT of fun and definitely a challenge!
Customer Review: awesome game Summary: 5 Stars
This game is so much fun that everybody must have it in there homes. It is a game that even a 80 year old great grandpa played with his great granddaughter and had tears running down his face from laughing so hard. It's a game that can bring a family together, so please go out and buy it. It has brought my family and friends together with tears running down our faces from laughing that is how much fun it is.
Customer Review: Greatest Party Game Ever!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm the organizer for the Orlando Game Night Meetup Group and we LOVE this game. Our game nights are not complete without it. It's a great game to learn (or relearn) communication skills. It does not matter if you are young or old, I think you will enjoy this game. It is just an overall great game and we appreicate Out ofthe Box games for supporting our Meetup Group.
Customer Review: Great fun Summary: 5 Stars
Backseat Drawing is a great game to play, it puts everybody on an even playing field. Because it is not a game about knowing information about one subject or another. It also helps develop communication skills. By making you explain something that the person you are explaining it to has no idea what it is your explaining.
Customer Review: We had a blast! Summary: 5 Stars
This game turned out to be a big hit with my family. And more difficult than it seemed. Describing what to draw, without giving away what the object is, does not come naturally. This game forces you to think differently about how to get your idea across. There were a lot of laughs and I can't wait to play it again.
