You must keep in mind that in Rock Shops all over the Western USA geodes the size of your fist are $20 to $40 EACH, whole, so to buy a box of 10 or 12 for under $20 you have to expect them to be tiny and not impressive.
most of these kits are simply crystals or minerals covered with mud and made round so your kid can smash them with a hammer and see the pretty rocks.
Yes there are a few geodes in there but they are smaller than a golfball, and if you think a geode the size fo a quarter is going to impress anyone you are mistaken.
these geode kits are a real rip off and I am sorry for those who don't read the SIZE of the 'geode' carefully.
Every kit out there states 1.5" to 1.75 inches in diameter at the most, and they are measuring the very longest side they can find!
