This is the same kind of basic sit-n-spin we grew up with in the 70s. There are no bells or whistles as in the interactive ones. No TV character marketing. I purchased this toy for my 14 month old son. He has not figured out how this works yet. So cant really say how much fun it is for him :) But it was really easy to assemble and it looks sturdy. Bought this for my 2 year old grandson its pretty durable. I accidently stepped on it and it still works. It is for I would say children no more than 3 or 4. Back in the days I remember having this and wasting my days. Just spinning. Then my little sister used it and my nieces. That to me was the best toy I had growning up. Now I have a newborn nephew who's 3 1/2 months. When he gets to be 2. That's the time to meet his new friend.
