When Saw first came out in theaters, my brother went and saw it...and raved about it. When Saw II came out in theaters, my brother went and saw it...and raved about it. When Saw III came out in theaters, my brother went and saw it...and raved about it. And he raved about the other two as well and hasn't stopped raving about them.
I honestly didn't have any interest in seeing any of them at first because I'm very picky about what horror movies that I will allow myself to watch. I thought that these would probably be too gory. After MONTHS of listening to him rave and telling me that I really needed to see them, I finally got the nerve to watch the first three...and then the fourth...and then the fifth. And that puppet is awesome (and I want one) :P So, because of all of his raving about this series, I had to get him the puppet for his birthday this year :P I would have loved to have been able to have gotten him a prop sized version but those things are just too expensive. He seemed to be happy with the nine inch one though (even if my first reaction to it was, "Oh my God, it's SOo tiny!" ) :)
