Customer Review: It's Keef no matter who the "character" may be...

Rosie O'Donnell and I share a hobby: we like to collect junk food figurines, you know, the "raisins," the various "Garfields," etc, but I've gone a step further and collected various super heroes, cartoon characters, and my heroes-of-the nineties, Beavis & Butthead. So when Dearest-On-Earth and I were trying to make our "media collection" look a bit less boring, we placed a "Shrek" & the donkey in front of the "Shrek" tape, "Woodie" & "Buzz" (trying asking for THOSE two in a toy store sometime, i.e, "well, I've got a Buzz, now all I needs is a Woodie." See wot I mean?) in front of "Toy Story," Batman in front of all three Adam West/Micheal Keaton/Christain Bale incarnations, Alf in front of...well, Alf, and the afore-mentioned Beavis & Butthead in front of H****** and O****...whoops, B&B. Dearest and I enjoyed all three "Pirates" movies too, and I have a "Cpt. Jack Sparrow" figurine, but awhile ago, I began seeing "Cpt. Teague" figurines being offered. So, acting on the advice of "A," above, I purchased this Cpt. Teague. It's everything she said...and more: it's a good 7" or 8" tall, which kind of makes him twice as tall as anything else in the collection, and he looks like some pagan diety next to Cpt. Jack. Still...the thing IS cool looking - indeed, how can anything "Keith" look like anything BUT "Keith?" I wired a "Strat" keychain to the good Cpt's leg, and taped a string to a cut-out picture of a "Keef-Who The F*** Is Mick Jagger" t shirt, put that in Cp't Teague's hand instead of one of the included "guns" (that wouldn't fit, anyway...), and despite its height difference - well, let's just say that BOTH Cpt. Teague and that GREAT guitarist for the Stones would like the "modifications." LEGAL DISCLAIMER TIME, as I have several Grandchildren myself, I have to be a good citizen and effect a warning that, maybe, Cpt. Teague shouldn't get into the hands of anyone under the age of 10 - but then, maybe NECA, the figurine's manufacturer, KNOWS who the "demographic target audience" really IS...
