Customer Review: This is the coolest thing I have ever seen!
Summary: 5 Stars
Well, it's ONE of the coolest things I've ever seen! "A Christmas Story" is one of my top favorite films of all time, and, as a toy collector, I LOVE having these collectibles! In case you didn't know, this figure is the "Old Man," AKA Ralphie's dad, played by Darren McGavin (also known to fans as TV's Kolchak, the Night Stalker; when do we get some figures of THAT?!). The Old Man is an awesome likeness, and comes complete with his treasured "Major Award," the notorious leg lamp! And, to address the problem a previous reviewer had, my figure wasn't defective, so they can't all be. Set this up alongside Ralphie, Randy, and Mom, and you have one awesome Christmas Story display! Highly recommended for collectors and fans of the film, and/or Darren McGavin!
