I purchased this item for my daughter's second birthday. I was a bit reluctant to do so after reading previous reviews, but since she is a huge Yo Gabba Gabba fan and Brobee is her favorite character, I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. I opened the package and inflated the ball prior to her party so she wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't work out -- and she definitely wasn't! The ball needs to be inflated with the cover on and I admit the inflation process wasn't easy (I ended up having to use a vintage 1950 hand pump to finish the job) but it was worth the work. For now, the ball is a little too big for my daughter, but she bounces on it with my help and carries it around the house all the time. I can't wait to see her enjoyment when she can bounce on her own. Excellent gift for Brobee fans.
