Here's what you get: 200+ WW II/'modern' type army men in green and grey - no difference in uniform style, just the color is different - 2 tanks, 3 jeep type vehicles, a fighter jet that looks sort of like a cross between an F-16 and a Stealth bomber, a 'play mat' and, somewhat mysteriously, flags of the US and modern day Germany.
The guys are about 23 mm tall, which makes them pretty tall and beefy next to regular HO/OO scale figures, the tanks are about right, maybe a little on the small side, the jeeps are way oversized and the plane is a little small.
Never mind the play mat and the flags......
Uses:
If you're a kid, you can fight some pretty good battles with this set.
If you're a wargamer who isn't too awfully uptight about things like scale, you can use this set to flesh out your existing HO/OO WW II or beyond armies, these are the guys who ate really well.......
If you're a wargamer who needs accuracy and correctness in scale, historical detail and such, you probably wouldn't be caught dead even thinking about buying this set.
