Customer Review: I'm 24, and Outwardly Admit My Love for My Pillow Pet

Firstly, I'm an educated person. I used to teach preschool, and I'm in graduate school. That seems irrelevant, but I feel I need to write a disclaimer to talk about my pillow pet at my age XD
I worked at a daycare until recently and Pillow Pets were all the rage. Almost every kid at naptime had one. My preschool kids also always talked about their Pillow Pets.
This cute little two-year-old girl from work we always call "Pilly Pet Abby" positively adores her knock-off lamb pillow pet (it's called an Animallow, and they seem just as nice). Nothing in the world is cuter than her saying "pilleh ped" or "pilly ped". She told me one day at nap time I needed to get one of my coworkers a Pillow Pet. I bought him the puppy and let her give it to him. She was thrilled, and so was he! =)
The little inside "joke" of the "pilleh ped" continued. Then my boyfriend bought me the dolphin for this year's Valentine's day to keep Abby's spirit alive since I left my job. I like dolphins, and blue is my favorite color. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I squee-ed when he gave it to me. But now I'm not. These things are darn cute, and I would have had one when I was 3. Without a doubt.
It's almost as good as my pillow from Disney World's Contemporary Resort, and those things are not cheap (but oh-so comfortable). I like a squishy pillow that has some firmness and support to it. I was shocked when I snuggled down with this thing and realized how well it supported my head.
There's no doubt in my mind that Pillow Pets are ridiculously adorable and durable. These things took a beating at work, and mine makes me feel like a giddy little kid ^_^ Which is something you really need every now and then, even as an adult.
Only thing, though, is that it seems the fur comes off this little guy rather easily. This might be a result of where my boyfriend purchased mine (from a local grocery chain, and it was the only one left AND I had to wash it because it was a bit dirty). His dorsal fin is also weird to sleep on if it gets in the way.
... but UGH I just looked across my bed at this fat little dolphin and my heart melted again.
