Customer Review: durable, spacious but "claws" break off

With 2 youngsters, I have now owned 3 of these dishwasher baskets. I have found them to be sturdy and spacious for my needs.
The main drawback is with the fold-back racks with mini "claws" for holding in straws. I use Playtex brand straws. Those mini "claws" eventually snap off, from usage. I give this product 4.35 stars. :-)
With my frequent straw usage, I have had to buy a new basket approximately every year, because that's how long the "claws" seem to last for me.
My young sons use the old baskets for their toys. :-)

This works great for us. It fits in the dishwasher perfectly(a GE Profile) and it fits the nipples in the top as it says it should. My only complaint for this product is that doesn't fit as many wide mouth nipples as it shows in the picture (such as The First Year Breastflow or Dr. Brown's wide mouth). I don't have any regular nipples so I can't tell you if they fit as suggested in the picture or not, but it fits about 6 wide mouth nipples in the top if you are good at strategically placing them. I love this basket. I also have a mesh dishwasher basket but it has metal pieces in it that are rusting - after not much use. This just proves, again, that Munchkin products are superior. I'm always happy with anything I get that is Munchkin brand.
Since they are tall, they make good use of your space in the dishwasher. The mesh basket lies flat, taking up a lot of space. I can pack these plastic ones pretty full and still feel confident that everything in there will come out as clean as it should and ready for use. Love it!

I began to look for something because I've lost a few sippy cup tops and valves to the heating element on the bottom of the dishwasher! It is small, but that's great because it only takes up a small part of our normally full dishwasher. While it's not really large enough for more than a couple of tops, it's perfect for all the different sized valves and some other specifically small top rack dishwasher safe stuff. I haven't used the straw part yet, but that also seems like a great idea. Those never seem to get clean in the dishwasher!Customer Review: Great basket depending on the bottle brand!

This basket is ok for the most part. We use Dr. Brown's bottles and can fit the full 10 nipples on the top. However, all of the remaining parts for the 10 bottles will definitely not fit and so we ended up getting another basket. We finally switched to mesh holders to save space in the dishwasher and I am happy with those because they will hold ALL of our bottle parts.
I plan to keep this basket and use it here and there as it is not a bad product - just doesn't have as much room as we need for all of our bottle parts!
