The game is simple to learn and quick to play but it is not simple to master.
My 5 year old loves it. He learned the skill of thinking ahead while playing it. The fact that he scored legitimate wins against both myself and my wife testifies that the game is appropriate for a wide range of ages.
Description of Pentago Black Natural (P-BANA-01)
Pentago is a fantastic new 2-player abstract strategy game from Sweden. The rules are very easy to learn. Place a glass marble in one of the nine spaces, on one of the four blocks. Now rotate any one of the playing blocks 90? in either direction. That's it! The winner is the first player to get five of their color in a row. Each game generally lasts no longer than 10-20 minutes, and the game has a very satisfying strategic element.Turning the blocks constantly changes the game board, your tactics and your opponents? tactics.
