Toys and Games Reviews of Qwirkle Board GameCustomer Review: Qwirkle Summary: 5 Stars
We gave this to 3 kids and families. One family has children 4 and 6, another has children 1, 4 and 7, and the other children 7, 9, 12, 15, and 18. It was a hit with each family. As the reviews I read stated, it is a game children 4 and up, teenagers, and adults can enjoy playing. This is a great family game. It is great to hear your grandkids come home from school and say can we play a game of Qwirkle tonight. Although the game says up to 4 players, we have played with as many as 8. The key to playing with larger groups is keeping the play moving.
Customer Review: Excellent game Summary: 5 Stars
We played this game with friends a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to order it for ourselves!
We love it and it's the type of game that is both fun and as challenging as you are up for! The tiles are well made and the graphics are visually appealing.
I'm looking forward to playing this with our nieces, ages 6 - 18. Although the 6 year old may not be able to figure out as many scoring options as the older kids, and us, the game is straightforward enough she'll be able to play and feel successful at it.
Customer Review: Great game! Summary: 5 Stars
Good game, child has to match colors, shapes. They also have to count, add, deductive reasoning--which color or shape is missing in the row-do I have it? If I have more than 1 play (which you usually do)which play will get me the most points? Now I played w/a 6 yr old girl, and a 7 yr old boy. The girl excited to play-into it. The boy--not so much, and of course the boy is mine! He does like the game and I think once we play it a few more times and he gets better at it he'll want to play more. Very good quality blocks, and bag to hold them.
Customer Review: Great game! Summary: 4 Stars
I gave this to my boyfriend for Christmas and next thing I knew my whole family was playing it for hours! I will note that none of my family is under the age of 22 years old so it's definitely a game that adults will enjoy as much as children. It was a good blend of luck and strategy; the idea is simple but is challenging enough to keep you interested.
The only complaint we had was that the red tiles and the orange tiles can be hard to tell apart (especially playing in the evening when the lighting isn't as bright).
Customer Review: Qwirkle Is For Everyone! Summary: 5 Stars
Everyone in the family loves this game. It's not so difficult that the youngest can't figure it out . . . and it's a challenge for us old grandma types as well. I love playing with my ten-year-old grandson who holds him game piece over his head and smiles and says, "What's the name of this game, Grandma?", and then puts his piece in its place to make a Qwirkle! The adults enjoy playing without the kids as well.Qwirkle Board Game
