Quirkle has been a lot of fun for us to play. We have played with people from 25 to 88 years old and it is a good time for everyone. It is a good thinking and strategy game that is dependent on skill and the luck of the draw. The rules are easy enough to learn and we would occasionaly catch each other trying to make illegal moves. The game keeps everyone engaged even when it is not their turn. The wooden pieces are durable and the bag is nice for storage and game play. We are a little concerned that with time the paint will rub off the tiles. Overall we totally recommend it.Customer Review: This is a great game. Well worth it.

I first played this at my in-law's house and just had to get it. It is a fun strategy game, kind of like scrabble, dominos, and uno combined. You match either shapes or colors. This game has been a hit among friends and it really makes you think and can get pretty competitive! This isn't a good party game but it would be perfect for a game night or family night. Kids can pick up on this, too! My nine year old sister is amazing. By the way, one way to rack up points at the end when all pieces have been drawn is to put your pieces down one at a time to milk the points.Customer Review: Best Present Ever!

Bought this game for my brother-in-law as a Christmas present. He and his wife live games and are always looking for the best games out there. They LOVE this game. Not only do they love it, but every family/couple that has played it with them has also bought one. My in-laws bought one on Christmas day - the first day we played it - because they liked it so much.
This game works for 2 players all the way up to five players (maybe more, but that is the most we played with and it went really fast). It is good for kids (simple concept) and adults love it too.

I purchased this game for my 6 year-old and we now enjoy it thoroughly, but it has taken us a couple of tries to get the hang of the game. Specifically, we were unclear about the optimal patterns for the tiles. You may find that for a younger child, the game takes more time than the child has in attention span (by the end of the game, we're both a little bit ready for it to be over). The good news is that we work on math by keeping track of the scores (heh, heh, I love hidden learning). I think that if you stick with it, this game will be enjoyable through adulthood.Customer Review: Great game!

As most of these reviews have mentioned, it is a great game. My friends and I (we're all 27) spent just about the entire weekend playing.
A previous review mentioned poor build quality - the pieces in our set were wooden and seem like they'll hold up quite well over the long run.
The game comes with a cloth bag that you can use to store all of the pieces, which also makes it easy to take the game with you whenever you travel. You couldn't actually play in the car, but it is a lot easier to take with you than a bulky square box.
