Customer Review: Not the Classic Mystery Date I Remember!

Although this is a very fun game, and a blast from my past, I was expecting the Original Mystery Date game with the 1960-1870 dud date guy.
This is still a fun game to play but the guys are nothing like the guys in the original game. Now they were hunks with their white tux coat and peg leg pants, and the dud, was truly someone you might feel sorry for.
Will they ever put out the original version of the game? That is the one I would wait for, even if I dated the dud!

I am always super happy to find a remake of a toy from the 70's that I remember. This game will sit in my collection and not get played with. I had trouble with the pictures of the dates that go behind the door. They are too thin and tear off the hinge. Just in putting it together I had one tear but managed to get it to work anyhow. Me and my tween and teen girls have a blast playing this classic game just as my sister and I did when we were young! It's good, clean, simple fun and opens up a great dialogue about what to look for in an acceptable companion, etc. I would recommend it for anyone with girls who wants a peek into how she thinks about her dating future (or present!).Customer Review: Classic Mystery Date: Still a classic!

My 10 year old daughter purchased this game with a suggestion from me. I told her how much I enjoyed it as a child. When it arrived we dug right in. This game is simple enough that my six year old also could enjoy it. We had good mother and daughter fun and my girls enjoy playing it with their friends.Customer Review: Fun

Mystery Date is a fun game, came in great condition, turning the knob can be tricky, might end up with the same guy if you turn it the same way. not challenging by any means. overpriced.
