Toys and Games Reviews of Mighty Mind

Customer Review: Great toy!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got this toy for my 28 month old. She is a little younger than the recommended age but very mature, so I thought I'd try this with her. She finished cards 1-10 this morning, but I have to sit with her and do them "together," meaning I have to talk through it with her... (What shape do we need? What color?), though I do not help her actually handle the pieces. His 3.5 year old brother is out with dad doing some errand, and when he comes home, I am sure he is going to be THRILLED with this toy. This is the kind of brainteaser that I am confident is perfect for his age, a great "quiet time" toy. I think this set will be good for him through 4 years old. Then I'll get the more advanced version.

Customer Review: Mighty Mind
Summary: 5 Stars

In 1984 Santa gave my two daughters Mr. Mighty Mind and Mr. Super Mind. My daughters are seven years apart and this was something they both could play together. I have kept these puzzles all this time anticipating the time their children would play with them. Today, I purchased a set of the puzzles for the older daughter to have in her classroom. She teaches kindergarten and I couldn't think of a better gift to give a teacher than one to be used by all her school children. I'm hanging on to the ones I have still hoping one day to be able to do the puzzles with grandchildren. I highly recommend this toy. Your child will have hours of independent educational fun.

Customer Review: My 5 year old doesn't like it very much but her friends do
Summary: 3 Stars

My 5 year old girl, who is adding and subtracting numbers up to 10, doing fractions, and 60 piece puzzles by herself, doesn't really like this game very much. I think it is too simple for her.

Her 4 year old friends, and other 5 year olds who aren't as into math really like it alot.

So if you have a child who is doing the smaller puzzles, this is probably a great thing. I brought it to a place with 5 other kids 5 and under and all the other kids went nuts over it. My daughter just wanted to play an addition/subtraction game instead.

Customer Review: Simple, basic, fun and very educational!
Summary: 5 Stars

Wonderful toys! I used to play with this when I was a kid, and when I saw this, I bought it in a heart beat for my 3-year-old. This is really a fun game to play together! For younger toddler, talking over how to solve a puzzle helps the child to build confidence, learn the thought process of problem solving, communication, and of course playing together builds strong bonds between a parent and a child! We always have fun playing with this! Highly recommended! And I really do think that this will help in brain development and makes your kid smarter!

Customer Review: Great Toy! Highly recommended!
Summary: 5 Stars

My now 4 year old received this as a gift when he was 2 1/2. He loved it then and he still loves it today. He now uses it completely independently, initially he needed some help. I now try to keep several on hand to give as birthday presents. I'd definitely recommend this toy to anyone considering buying it. The only drawback to the toy's durability is lost pieces. However, it has taught my son the valuable lesson of cleaning up the pieces after he's finished to keep his younger brother from scattering them. Highly recommended!
