I got this for my 2-year-old niece, who promptly fell in love with it. The pieces are large and sturdy, and the "stove" is a wooden tray that makes the whole set easily portable. My niece had a ball playing with the "food" included - the corn, broccoli and steak, as well as making pretend batches of spaghetti. The only thing that would have made it better is a lid for the blue pan (my niece kept trying to get the red pot lid to stay on the blue pan). Highly recommended.
