Toys and Games Reviews of Melissa & Doug Underwater 48-Piece Floor PuzzleCustomer Review: Great puzzle for my 3 year old! Summary: 5 StarsThe pieces are thick so they don't bend and break like most other puzzles. My only complaint is some of the pieces already had some paint wearing off upon opening the package. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
Customer Review: Melissa & Doug Summary: 5 Stars3rd Melissa & Doug puzzle purchased! Nephew loves the puzzle and uncle loves Amazons price and shipping. Very satisfied.
Customer Review: Not what I expected Summary: 3 StarsI was given this as a gift for my son and I was excited when I found out it was a Melissa & Doug product but unfortunately, it was NOT a wood puzzle, unless you count cardboard as wood.
The image is gorgeous and the pieces are huge and easy for kids to handle and hard for them to lose but unfortunately, my two year old figured out how to peel them apart in less than a week. The edges also bend easily making it hard for a young child to put the pieces in place properly.
This is a beautiful puzzle but not a durable one.
Customer Review: Melissa and Doug does it again Summary: 5 StarsMy son has a few of these puzzles and they are just great! The pieces are nice and thick and very durable. This puzzle is really nice- very colorful and the image is beautiful! The puzzle was easy enough for my four year-old son to put together with minimal help. (I'm sure he will be able to do it all by himself in no time.)
The only thing that I would change in this product is that the box does not show the entire image because part of it is covered with text. We like to pick up a puzzle piece and then locate it on the box and weren't able to do that with a few of the side pieces. It's not a big deal, but would have liked to be able to see the entire puzzle on the box.
Customer Review: good one Summary: 4 StarsI bought this puzzle for my son when he was 2 years and 10 month old. It was bit difficult for him so I store it somewhere. I will try this again after 2 months when he turns 3 yrs. It was tricky for me too for the first 2 times and I can imagine it will hard for little boy. My recommendation is, don't buy for kids under 3yrs.
