Customer Review: Fun at the farm

We've enjoyed this farm toy. The construction is adequate. There is paint slopped inside here and there, but I'd still rather have that than a plastic toy with no paint at all. The plastic farm animals that come with it don't necessarily "go" anywhere, so it's up to a child's imagination as to all farm goings-on. The hinge is a nice touch-- it truly does fold and go. If you're holding the handles top you could safely carry it out to the car to get it to Grandma's.Customer Review: Great toy, Bad construction.

We had the same issue as some of the other reviewers. The handle on the toy broke within about 4 minutes of having the toy out of the package.
Our daughter got tired of trying to deal with the broken barn, so eventually she took the animals and played with them by themselves. The animals are the reason for 2 stars rather than one.
Ours is also not painted well at all. Very little of the paint actually follows the line of the toy.

I just bought this at our local toy store and paid $50 for it. It was a great value at that price as my daughter (2 years old) loves it. It is very well constructed and well finished on the outside. Inside, it has a plain wood with stalls, moving doors, and two floors. It also comes with multiple figures that are well made. When I saw it for only $30 on Amazon, I realized that I had overpaid for it. It is a great play set for kids 2-7 years old.Customer Review: Couldn't be happier with it

Even more beautiful in person. It's superb quality, very nice barn. I got it for my two year old, who absolutely loves this barn. It folds up easily, it unfolds just as easily. It has plenty of space on the inside. Everyone comments on this barn when they come to my house and asks where I got it. The price was excellent for what I got and this very much exceeded my expectations.
Don't get any other, this one is perfect.

I bought the Multi-level Deluxe Wooden Fold & Go Barn with 7-piece Farm Animal Set for my grand-daughter who was 20 months at the time. She loved it. I loved it too, I thought the workmanship was superior. We were all concerned about the lead paint problem with children's toys and my daughter-in-law did some research and asked me to get the Melissa and Doug toys the farm and the doll house too. Sarah loved both of them.
