Customer Review: Stamping Fun!

I bought this stamp set and an extra stamp pad for my 3 yr old grandaughter. She loves it! For me, the great thing about this craft is, it is not messy like finger or tempra paints. The ink is washable. Some supervision is a good idea. For instance, I provided a folded wet cloth and instructed her to wipe the ink off each stamp before using a new color. That way, the inks all stay pure and don't get muddy. Then I drew a little background, i.e. hills, a pond, a fence. Then she made her own picture putting a house and trees on the hill, bird and clouds in the sky, frog in the pond, horse in the pasture, etc. She is also learning to color in the lines. I wish the colored pencils were little softer so they would color darker, but overall, this is a great activity for 3 and up.
