Really adorable! My kids have never eaten sushi, but they understand what it is. The different textures and designs make them look so realistic. I gave this item as a gift to my friend's 1-1/2 year old. He loves it! Loves to "chop chop" up the sushi. It's a great toy for those who love sushi! And Melissa & Doug items are so durable! My daughter is 14 months old and loves this. Between taking all the pieces in and out of the tray, she also carries them around the house. I think its because they are so fun to look at. The construction of the toys is great and I definitely recommend this!Customer Review: My son loves these!

My son is now 3 years old and still loves to play with this (and all other M&D products similar to this one). It's fun for them to cut the food and also use their imagination. He chewed on them and threw them when he was little and they still look great.
