This is a great puzzle from Melissa and Doug. Their floor puzzles are very durable and fairly priced and this is no acception. It's also a great picture to make a puzzle out of because it doesn't have a lot of blank space and not a lot of color repetition. My 3yo daughter learned how to spell all the planets with this one and loves to pick out which are which. Definitely would recommend this one for kids.Customer Review: excellent gift idea

My daughter absolutely loves this puzzle. The size is captivating and the colors are vibrant and alluring. She is four years old and takes great pleasure independently putting it together and identifying the planets." the pieces are sturdy and fit together very well. I bought this puzzle for my almost 3-yr old daughter to upgrade from the smaller 12 piece and 24 piece puzzles she had at home. She took to it right the way. She loves the planets and this one is very educational. Some of the pieces were a bit hard for her to match, but after doing it a few times, she pretty much memorized where each piece goes. She loves it.

My two sons (6 and 7 when this was purchased) loved doing this puzzle. They would clear a space on the floor and work together to get the project done. It stayed in the closet for awhile and then when they both started a planets study in school, they went straight to the closet and pulled it out again. They then used it to tell me everything they'd been learning.Customer Review: great educational toy

My 5 yr old (boy) loves this puzzle. He has owned it for less then a week and has asked to put it together several times. One thing I like about it is that it is large enough that both he and his older brother (7) can get on the floor and do it together. They both are learning the names of the planets and what they look like because of this puzzle!
