This is about twice the size of a normal ink pad. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived! Although the dimensions are listed in the product information, I must have skimmed right over that! My 12 year old uses this for their stamp collection and making cards. It really does provide quality cards and so far, so good - it has not dried out and keeps right on going! My daughter loves this stamp pad. The colors are vibrant, the pad areas are large enough for most of her stampers, and the case is very convenient. It is much better than the smaller stamp pads that only fit smaller stampers. The ink has been of good quality and shows no signs of running out anytime soon. I bought this stamp pad for my 3-year-old to go along with a "Melissa & Doug" stamp set. This stamp pad is really nice. It's very big (bigger than I expected) and the colors are really bright. It's easy for little hands to use because of it's size and the ink is washable, so it's easy to wash off hands and wash off of counters/clothing.Customer Review: Stamping fun

I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter, as she loved playing with stamps at day care. The colors were bright, and best of all, they did wash off when she stamped on her shirt! However, I agree with the other reviewers that the colors tend to run together a bit, but that didn't seem to distract my daughter.Customer Review: great for art projects... hand and foot prints...

I use this to stamp my kids' hands on their "thank you" notes, as I am teaching them the now dying art of actually thanking people who give them gifts or are kind to them in small gestures. The kids love playing with them. Best of all, the color wipes off with a soft cloth wipe. I highly recommend.
