Toys and Games Reviews of Melissa & Doug Pizza PartyCustomer Review: Excellent!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This went over incredibly well at Christmas!
This is a high-quality wooden toy that comes in a wooden crate for storage. My children can spend hours making their own pizzas, pretending to cook them, and serving them with the included pizza slicer and server. This toy is a big hit and I would love to buy this in the future as a gift for other children. This was a very worthwhile investment!
Customer Review: Great fun Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this set along with four other sets and a food stand for my son for his birthday. He wanted to open a store and sell things. He has really enjoyed making and selling his food to his brothers and his father and I. The set is a good size and has been played with in our house by girls and boys ages one to nine, not to mention how much I have played with it with them. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Pizza party is a little boring . . . Summary: 3 Stars
My 2 year old is a big fan of Melissa & Doug toys, as are myself and my husband (they are safe, durable, and educational), but this one just does not hold her interest as much as other similar toys they make. I rate it an "okay." I highly recommend parents instead consider Melissa and Doug's cutting food set or sandwich making set, my 2yr old plays with these for hours and still loves them!
Customer Review: Daughter loves it! Summary: 4 Stars
My 2 1/2 year old loves this. She plays with it every day, which is saying a lot considering her attention span. I love that it is made of wood and the velcro sticks really well. Only thing I don't like which is the case with so many Melissa and Doug product is that there is no cover so there is no real way to contain the small pieces from my infant who will be crawling soon.
Customer Review: Great product, but needs a lid Summary: 4 Stars
I have always liked Melissa and Doug's puzzles. They are always of good quality. I was disappointed this year to find out they stopped putting a cover on their wooden puzzles/dolls. In the past they would have a plastic/plexiglass like cover that would slide over the top of the puzzle. They are still stored in a nice wooden box, but there is no lid to keep it all contained.
