When my Mom got this puzzel for my 2 year old I thought that he wouldn't be interested until he got older. But he loves this puzzle and asks me to do it with him at least every week. we've had it for seven or eight monthes now and he still loves it. It's very sturdy and the pieces don't get lost, they're so big and easy to find. Definatly a great toy!Customer Review: Great for little ones

All of the Melissa and Doug puzzles are GREAT!!! I have two boys ages 3 and 8 and they both love putting these puzzles together. We recently bought the fire truck one because we have so much fun with the other three puzzles we got for Christmas. The pieces are big and sturdy. Keeps my busy boys occupied for hours!! Our two-year-old prefers this puzzle over all others. She constructs it several times a day. There are just the right amount of details in it, so that after she's put it together I ask her to point to each detail by naming it for her. She loves this puzzle! as with the other M&D puzzles, this one resists being walked on and chewed on by my 3 and 1 year olds. My three year old likes fire trucks and he likes puzzles, he also acts like every time he puts it together is the first time he noticed the dalmatian in the back window. I bought this product for my son who is 3 1/2 and he enjoys putting it together all by himself. The cardboard is very sturdy and does not bend, as well as it's surface is easy to wipe clean if necessary. I would say this product gets 5 stars because of the quality and enjoyment of putting it together.
