Customer Review: Big Enough For Two

Both of my kids (4 ½ and 22 Mos.)love fire trucks so this puzzle was a big hit. The large size (4 feet long) makes it a good size for use on a coffee table. t is also large enough that several kids can work on it without banging into each other.The design is clear with strong colors and nice details (look for the dalmatian in the window). The pieces are durable for cardboard (my kids walk across the puzzle constantly and it has not been damaged).
My only fault with the puzzle is it is so popular I can never get it put away for more than a few minutes. Once taken apart, the kids want to put it together again.

Melissa and Doug puzzles are generally a good buy with big sturdy pieces and bright colors. This puzzle is no different.
The pieces are big enough for little fingers to hold and manipulate. The pieces are durable and have put with with three children putting this puzzle together and pulling it apart repeatedly. The colors are bright.
The bright yellow line going down the side of the fire truck is what makes it easy enough for children as young as four (and a little bit younger) able to put it together.
This is a great puzzle.

My 3 year old son is obsessed with fire trucks, and we got three of these as birthday presents at his fireman-themed birthday party. On the plus side, the pieces are very sturdy and the puzzle makes a nice gift (we've "re-gifted" our two extras). On the other hand, unlike other reviews here, I have to say that my son couldn't be less interested in playing with this puzzle. He'd much rather play with his real trucks, or dress up like a fireman and use a jump-rope as a makeshift fire hose. Maybe when he gets a little older it will be of more interest.Customer Review: A must have for toddlers!

My 2yr old son received this puzzle as a gift and he loves to play with it almost daily. He needs help putting it together, but I love watching him discover ways to figure out where each piece goes. The wheels and hose pieces he has down pat already at 26mths. The puzzle is huge, which is another reason he loves it. We spend about 20 mins with this puzzle, talking about colors, parts of the truck, etc. He even loves the little dog. Great for any toddler into fire trucks. Pieces are well built, connect well, and hold up to toddler handling.Customer Review: This is a great puzzle!

I bought this puzzle for my grandsons. I decided to do the puzzle myself before I showed it to them. I loved it! When they came over, I gave them the puzzle and they sat down and occupied themselves for quite a while with it (they are 4 and 2). I think the idea of a floor puzzle is unique for children and it allows room enough for more than one of them to do it at a time. I am ordering more of these puzzles so that when the children come over to our house, they will have something to occupy them. I give these puzzles 5 stars!
