Melissa & Doug really know how to turn out some great toys to bring out the creativity in kids. If you spent the money on the easel (and that was a great bargain if you got it on Amazon!) then you absolutely SHOULD get this companion set.
It's wonderful how the brushes are the perfect size for the paint pots and all of it is just so -- well -- really teriffic!
The BEST part is watching kids use it! Wow!!

My mother got the easel for my 3 year-old for his birthday so I grabbed this set to go with it. The plastic trays work very well to catch any drips or chalk dust, the paint cups have a great slanted insert that works to keep the paint drips in the cups and the paint is just the right thickness to minimize drips. The dry-erase marker dried up relatively quickly, but it really wasn't the big attraction for my son anyways.Customer Review: Love it!

I bought this for my 2 yr old grandaughter to go along with her Melissa and Doug easel. It's a must buy if you get the easel, makes a perfect set! The only thing I would say negative, is that there needs to be more markers and another eraser (one for the chalk and one for the marker side). The paint washes off different surfaces very easily too!! All our Melissa and Doug purchases have been well worth the money!!!Customer Review: Must have!!

I purchased this with the easle, and I am so glad I did. The paint cups are great for keeping the paint nice and fresh. I have left paint in them for several weeks, and my son was still able to use it. The dry erase marker dried up fast, but I just bought a set from the store. My son has been using this all summer and I still have paint left. The brushes are pretty hard, but for a toddler they work just fine.Customer Review: Must-Have

I bought the easel that this product goes along with, as well. This is a great product and a must-have if you own an easel. The paint lasts for a very long time in the no-spill canisters that comes with it. Also, it is great for young children as painting builds their confidence and self-esteem. It also teaches them to express themselves more freely. I am definitely not dissapointed in this product!
