Very nice product for studying a map of the United States. Beats all others that I have looked at. The only suggestion I have for the makers would be to include some kind of plastic cover because there is no on/off switch. Whenever a "state" goes missing,the sound is activated when a light is turned on in a dark room. Pretty disconcerting to turn on a light and hear a state start talking!!!!Customer Review: Great learning tool

My mom bought this puzzle for my 4 year old son with Autism for Christmas last year. He learned all of his states and capitals in 2 weeks, everyone was AMAZED, including me! He has retained this information as well. Friends and family were embarrassed because they didn't even know this information, we are lending the puzzle out to family. I think that this is a great product. I give it a 4 to 4 1/2 out of 5. I would say it is perfect except it may be a little dull. Not enough pizazz. Maybe some music or little tunes or something... I don't know. Just that the voice that announces the states and capitols is so boring.

My 3 year old LOVES this puzzle. He learned all his states and capitals within a months time. He was totally captivated by this puzzle...it kept him busy for hours. The only problem we had was when a piece was not on the map, it would say random states until that piece was put back on the map. Other than that, it is a great learning tool!Customer Review: No ON/OFF switch

The biggest problem I got is it doesn't have an on/off switch. So when you turn on/off your light, or even when there is a cloud passing by in the sky, it will start to talk. Think about it: you turned on/off the light in the middle of the night to get something, all the sudden you heard "Alabama ...", quite scary isn't it?
