My sons (5 & 6) really wanted the alphabet and other beads to make necklaces. The beads are a good quality and they have fun using them. My big problem is the packaging - there is no way to "close" the beads so I had to swith them out of the pretty boxed package into a container with a lid. I noticed that this product is listed as many things, "beading necklace", "Alphabet beads" "Flower beads"Customer Review: Fun Bead Set! Makes a great gift too!

My daughter received this for a Christmas present and we both love it! She is only 26 months old but she has no problem lacing the beads! The letters are good practice for her alphabet and she loves all of colors and shapes of the beads! I will be ordering another set when we have run out of beads! We recently gave this set to a family friend on her sixth birthday - they have raved about what fun it is! Both the little girls and her three year old brother have played with the beads and had a great time - it kept them occupied for a LONG time, too! Mom says it's great for dexterity and for learning shapes, colors, and letters.Customer Review: creative, colorful and the kids loved it!

I bought this as a gift for a 5 year old girl. The kids at the birthday party started
playing with it right away - an instant hit! There were 3 little girls and 2 little boys
and they started making necklaces with their names. The quality and the color of the beads
are great. It's a great buy for the price.

This is a fantastic toy/craft. My 6 yr old daughter loves it. She has finished all the necklaces you can make. I would suggest the mfr. add more string for the necklaces. I will be getting more colorful string at the fabric store to use with the remaining beads. I highly recommend this as a gift for you child.
