My husband and I bought these pots for my son for Christmas. As soon as my 3 year old opened them he started to "cook" on his new play kitchen. These are very durable and seem to be durable enough to last through all of our kids. My son has only had them for a day and he has already had hours of fun with them. Wooden kitchen accessory set is made of durable materials, easy for toddlers to handle, and is a great addition to any play kitchen set. Keep in mind that these are preschooler-scaled toys, and not play versions of what's already in the kitchen. I expect a long life out of this set - these are "old school" wooden toys, nothing flimsy about it.Customer Review: Disappointed

I have been buying Melissa and Doug for my granddaughters. They loved this wooden set, but the skillet broke at the handle and the red paint chipped. The skillet was dropped on a wooden floor and the handle broke off. We have attempted to glue the pieces together two times. Very disappointed. We purchased these pots and pans for our 2 year old for Valentines Day to go along with the Melissa and Doug Kitchen he received for Christmas. They are a perfect compliment to the kitchen and he plays with them everyday. All of our friends can't believe how tough and sturdy the pans are - really a great product.Customer Review: Decent - couple flaws

We got this set for my son 2 years ago, and it has held up decently well. The only 2 issues I found are: 1. If the pots are banged against a wall, they leave a streak of red paint and 2. My son threw a pot down the stairs and it landed on a stone floor and cracked in half. So, treat them gently, they will last.
