Customer Review: A huge hit in our son's play kitchen

When my wife suggested we buy this set of pots and pans for our son's play kitchen, I was skeptical to say the least. For the same price as this M&D set, there were many other kitchen sets with far more (plastic) items. Once this set did arrive, I was impressed by the amazing high quality of construction in each item -- they're made of solid thick wood.
I was won over even more when I saw how much and how quickly our son took a liking to them. He can play for hours every day with these without getting bored or turning to his many other electronic toys that make noise and light up. Despite how much our son beats up every part of this set, I'm certain these will outlast him and his younger sister. This kitchen set is well worth the premium price because, as long as you don't lose the individual pieces, the set will survive for as long as you need it.
One cautionary note on this kitchen set -- since they are solid wood, you really do have to watch to make sure your child doesn't throw any pieces. At first, our son had a bad habit of throwing the lids, accidentally hitting someone's foot or getting awfully close to our TV. Getting hit by one of these pieces hurts -- trust me.
