This easel was easy to put together. That alone gets high marks. It is colorful and great quality. My five year old son loves it. He right away wanted to play "school" and write his letters on the dry erase board. The paints don't require mixing or adding water. They wash up with water alone. The chalks come in ten different colors. My son is 44'' tall and I put the dry erase board and the chalk board on the second position. That height works great for him now and gives the easel "room to grow". I am very happy with this purchase and enjoy telling others about the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Standing Art Easel.Customer Review: Great value

This is a really nice easel. We bought it for our 5 year old daughter for Christmas. It was easy to assemble and is nice quality. It reminds me of toys from when I was a kid... you know, quality joints, held together with screws, durable, etc. My only issue is the erasable marker that comes with it. It's really cheap, somehow doesn't fit with the rest of the product. Like maybe it was an afterthought. But a replacement is inexpensive and it certainly isn't something that should discourage you from purchasing this item.Customer Review: Standing Easel with Accessories

Bought as a Christmas present for grand dahling.
Her father put together easily. Has everything a child could want for painting, coloring or doing homework, such as spelling words, etc.
I was disappointed as I didn't get the vinyl drop cloth and email the company. They didn't have any drop cloths in, but would send when they did. This is now September, so I safely say I will never get the drop cloth. I picked up a cheap plastic table cloth to go under easel.

I have to say that this product has probably made me the most satisfied I've ever been about a purchase I've made here on Amazon. The easel was very simple to put together. My husband and I were expecting to spend an hour or so putting this together and had it together within about 20 minutes. The instructions were easy to understand. The easel is of high quality. Very sturdy. Lot's of little details and very colorful. It stores easily too.Customer Review: My daughter plays with this every day.

My four year old got this as a Christmas present, and absolutely loves it. It is durable, sturdy, and very age appropriate. She paints on it practically every day. The clean up with the paints is easy, and changing the paper is so easy, she does it herself. This was a great buy and a great investment. It was easy to put together and I would buy it again.
