I received this wonderful magic kit for my seven year old grandson and it is awesome! 'Melissa & Doug Deluxe Magic Set' is everything it says - sturdy, it's made of real wood and has several tricks that can be performed easily by a young child. The tricks are inclosed in a colorful box made out of sturdy wood. The price is quite fair for this product compared to the many flimsy products online today. Expect hours of entertainment and fun for your child, as well as yourself, when purchasing this item! It makes for a wonderful gift and I highly recommend this product!

I bought this for my 5 year old son. He has a great aptitude for figuring things out and catches on really fast. I was still hesitant that this might be too advanced for him, but when he got it Christmas morning it didn't take him long to figure out the tricks. I am really pleased with this set. It is definitely a TOY set. If you are looking close enough you can see how the tricks work. My son doesn't mind and he has a lot of fun showing it off to all of his aunts and uncles. I would reccomend this product to parents purchasing this set for a child who just wants to have fun.Customer Review: Excellent

This magic set by far exceeded my expectations. All of the pieces are of high quality and they look very professional. I bought this for my 10 year old son and we've both had a lot of fun practicing the tricks to make them seamless. I would highly recommend this set.
My only "complaint" is that it comes in a hinged wooden box, but the box does not have a latch to keep it shut. This would make it great for storing all the pieces. Otherwise, it was a super purchase and I plan to buy the smaller kit for his birthday. Another quality Lisa and Doug product.

Doug and Melissa make 3 different magic trick sets and we have them all! The Deluxe Magic Set is awesome. Our son was delighted to receive his third set. This has different and exciting tricks (a bag that makes items disappear, coins that disappear and reappear in a box); he was able to master a few within a few days. He's working on perfecting the rest. All products are wooden and made to last. No cheap plastic pieces that disappear into the toy box or tricks that are impossible to understand. Nine year old daughter wanted a magic kit, so I purchased this one. The kit has a lot of amusing tricks and a great amount of items for the money. The items are well made and hold up to a lot of abuse, after seeing it I would think this kit would cost a lot more. Some of the tricks are silly, but some are actually very good. All the tricks are easy to understand and perform. My daughter has even done several tricks for her class at school. She has been thrilled with it and I have been very pleased. I would recommend this kit to anyone. Hope this review helps.
