I got this set to go with the Melissa and Doug Folding Castle. The kids love to play with them along with other dolls that fit the castle nicely (Disney, Polly Pocket). They don't quite know what to do with the Jester yet, but he gets to be a dad sometimes.
There are blobs of glue hanging out around some of the parts. It doesn't bother me, and certainly doesn't bother the kids!

My mom let me pick out a gift for my friends party and I thought this was cool so I bought it and my friend loved it. He likes everything about castles because he likes Lord of the rings and Harry Potter too. Their fun to bend and play with and I told my mom I want one for my birthday and she got me one and now we play with them all the time.Customer Review: Castle and Additional characters

I loved the castle and the additional characters. My son loves it. He got it for Christmas and turned 4 in February and plays with it often. It is durable and strond (he once stood on it). Of course, I told him not to do that again but I'm glad it was able to handle him. I love it and it's prety to look at too.Customer Review: fun for the kids

Similar to the Plan Toys figures...these dolls work well with the folding castle set. The Plan toy dolls seem a little more put together, but my six year old didn't seem to notice any difference. I have purchased three sets of these for several of my grandchildren & they love them. They are very sturdy & are great for children with imaginations. These Castle People are perfect to create a time in our past. I would highly recommend this set of Deluxe Castle People.
