Customer Review: Great Learning Tool

After reading all the negative reviews about this product, I was a little hesitant to purchase them. My 2 and a half year old son is really interested in learning and identifying letters, and we're really trying to encourage him. I remember having magnetic letters as a kid, and wanted to find some for him. The price on these were great, but I was worried about quality. The jumbo sized letters were over twice the price, and since some of the reviews said they took up a lot of space, I decided to try out the small letters.
We just put them on the refrigerator and I was pleasantly surprised. All the letters stuck to the fridge just fine, none fell off or slid down or anything like that. While the magnets are small and may wear out over time, they seem fine for now, and for the price it doesn't really matter. The magnets are on the small side, so if you have a child who likes to put things in his/her mouth, I would NOT recommend these. However, if you have a older child and are just looking for a cheap set of magnetic letters, these are the best.
I also got my son the Leapfrog Fridge Phonics Magnets, and he LOOOVVEEESSSS them. Since that set only comes with one of each letter, these ones are a nice addition so he can have extra letters to spell out words.
