Customer Review: Pretty fun, but not revolutionary
Summary: 4 Stars
This is a pretty fun game, but it will not change your life. The log works via magnets in the log and on the beavers' heads. Because the log's rotation is essentially random, it can't be rigged (easily).
Pros:
* The game board and mechanism is a portable case, impossible to lose and difficult to destroy. Really, only the character pieces, dies, and instructions can be lost.
* Interesting design - it's always fun to having moving parts.
* Good artwork.
Cons:
* The log does not seem to grab the beavers often enough (for my tastes).
* I could see children breaking some of the pieces, even though it is more durable than one would expect.
* Not much depth - this is definitely meant to be a young children's game.
