Toys and Games Reviews of Halo 3 Series 3 - Spartan Soldier RogueCustomer Review: McFarlane's Halo action figure. Summary: 5 Stars
This series of action figures by McFarlane are based on the xbox 360 game Halo 3. The Spartan soldier action figures are about six inches high, very detailed, and with many points of articulation are capable of a variety of poses. These toys are only for adults or older teenagers who will use them carefully since the small joints can be broken if overused.
I have used this figure and others to make a battle scene for my brother's toy store display case. The figures and their variety of weapons usually attract a lot of attention from fans of the game. The figures come with interchangeable parts: head, shoulder pads, and chest armor so that the figures can be customized. Each figure comes with halo points that can be redeemed at the spawn website for exclusive parts.
Customer Review: If your a collector, or halo fan, get it! Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered this toy about 2 months ago. I can't say any negatives about the figure its self, but the figures weapon, the brute shot is a "no no". As soon as i took the figure out of the package the handle on the brute shot broke off. i Super glued it back on but it broke instead in another spot and i lost the handle. Grenade also can get lost easy if you play with the figure often, so be careful and don't take it somewhere like on the playground. If your just a collector leave it in the package your be fine, if not be careful taking it out of the package because the brute shot is fragile.
Customer Review: Cool toy, but be careful Summary: 3 Stars
I like this toy and it was at a great value so I ordered 2. I kept one sealed and opened the other to put in my little "halo battle scene" but right when I opened it, the handle on the brute shot broke off! I superglued it back but when I tried positioning the figure for the gun, the hand broke off!!! Cool figure but be careful when you move it around. I've also noticed that some of the articulation points on the halo figures loosen up quickly, so keep an eye out.
Customer Review: BADDD Summary: 2 Stars
So I bought this thing. The first thing I did was take it out of the package, at which the handle of the brute shot promptly snapped off on contact. So, I thought to myself, this isn't too bad. But then I realized one of his legs was a lot longer than the other, making it harder to stand up than the flood dude. To make it even worse, he has two right hands, that's correct, TWO RIGHT HANDS!!! Really? He can't hold anything. Congrats, Mcfarlane.
Customer Review: Rogue Spartan Summary: 4 Stars
The character was very beautifully crafted, extremely flexible, and highly detailed to every bit as seen in the game. However, I cannot get him to wield the Bruteshot. I attempted to use the handle, but alas, it was too fragile, and broke while posing. Other than that, the Bruteshot is identical to it as in the game.
