Toys and Games Reviews of Halo 2009 Wave 3 - Series 6 ODST Soldier The Rookie

Customer Review: wtf
Summary: 2 Stars

I'm an avid collector of this series and although I've been burnt before, never this badly.
Let's start with posability, see that pose pictured above? That's pretty much it, no range of motion. It can hold the gun, sort of, but it won't look like it's aiming at anything in particular and you won't get any kind of dramatic poses, just standing and looking........stoic? I don't think they did any product testing.
Then there's durability, don't sneeze in the presence of this figure or you'll have the special "got stuck with a plasma grenade" pose. It's as if they put this out quick just to turn a buck. I thought maybe it was just mine but I see the majority of reviewers had the same problems I had. Definitly not worth the money.

Customer Review: Extreme disapointment
Summary: 1 Stars

As others have commented, leave it in the box! Upon removing from the box, the arm fell off, the armor fell off, and the legs can't move. I worked with it for a while and was able to get most of this moving and back together without to much work. You cannot pose the arms very well. The right hand has to be opened and stretched to hold the weapon. And do not for any reason think that a child can actually play with this. Like others, mine is on display only. It's very frustrating as this is my first purchase of the line of figures and I am extremely reluctant to consider making a second purchase.
All that said, the paint and detail on the figure is truly great. Still, it just seems like a half ass job.

Customer Review: once again mcfarlne goes for scult rather that quality
Summary: 1 Stars

this figure broke the minute i opened it. I had to superglue his hand back on his arm. Mcfarlne has always seemed to care more about how the figure looks(lost, halo, spawn) and just doesnt give a crap about articulation, on their lost figures i didnt care becuase i like displaying them. But on a line like "halo" where some poepple might want to recreate some epic battles thats no good when you are trying to put a gun in the rookies hand it is freaking falls off. i had no problems with any other halo figs, but this is just horrible. With this figure breaking and the cancellation af the 3rd wave of lost figures, i think i am done with the manufacturer

Customer Review: Defects corrected
Summary: 3 Stars

Defects have been corrected, so the left hand no longer falls off. Shoulder pauldrons still do though, but these can easily be stuck back on. Paint is still greenish gray, though the color varies depending on lighting. The light gray stripe on the helmet has been added, the visor has been darkened, and the chestplate is painted light gray. Playability is still limited by the mold, and it lacks holes in the right leg and backpack so additional weapons cannot be stowed.
Since the durability of the figures has gone down, be gentle with them. Twist things slowly. And don't throw them around.

Customer Review: Look's great not durable
Summary: 2 Stars

First off I am 11 and a huge Holo fan so I got this ODST trooper that look's cool and has cool armor and cool accecories and I recieved it in two days.
But I DO NOT RECOMEND to any halo fans because as soon as I got it the shoulder pads came off and next it was the arm and I tried to put it on... SUCCES!!! Five seconds later... plop off goes the arm and it won't stay on I was supprised yet dissapointed. P.S.I recomend a spartain.
