I ordered these blocks for my 2 year-old son for Christmas. He loves to build, and greatly enjoys playing with the blocks. They are a good size for little hands and are easy to store. He has created many "architectural masterpieces", most of which defy the laws of physics. Then comes the best part - knocking them down. These blocks are absolutely beautiful. They are smooth, clear grained and cut in very precise modules. There are many wonderfully unusual shapes and styles to add to the original set. Children's blocks are expensive, but these, especially, will be a gift that can go through generations of children. These blocks are amazingly fun. My kids play with these daily. They find many uses for them, and have played with them for years. They are great for throwing games as well. They still use them to this day. I would highly recommend these.Customer Review: On the small side

Very nice natural wood block set. The pieces were smaller than I expected. 2yr old likes them. I wanted bigger blocks at first but after we opened them I was glad they were smaller. The box of blocks stores nicely on our book shelf.Customer Review: Christmas present

My kids really liked it, but the pieces seemed really small so I had to watch them when playing with them because I was worried about them putting it in their mouth. Other then that it has been fun building stuff.
