Customer Review: Great creative toy!

This was a Christmas gift for my three year old twin sons. They've already spent many hours playing with this -- hauling things up and down in the buckets, putting their cars in the bottom "garage," putting their Pooh figures to bed in the treehouse every night. I was concerned that it might be too delicate, but it's very sturdy. Even the winches are simple and well-made enough for the boys to play with independently. I did have to remind my son once not to pull on the rope with all his might, but that's it (and the treehouse stood up to this behavior very well).
It doesn't take up as much floorspace as I had feared -- it's big, but a lot of its size is vertical. It also looks great in the corner of our dining room.
I was impressed with the assembly instructions -- all the pieces had small numbered stickers on them to make everything simple.
Bravo -- great value for the years of regular use I expect the boys to get out of this treehouse.
Customer Review: Very Cute Treehouse, but issues with construction on parts

I purchased this tree house for my daughter's 4th birthday. It took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble, the instructions were pretty clear. Within 5 minutes of playing with it, the large bucket had the handle come off. I continued to fix it, but the holes into which the wire go into the bucket do not go all of the way through. Upon calling customer service, we were advised to use superglue to lock it into place. I wouldn't do that because she wanted to load it up and use the pulley system to lift things up and down, and she needed it and I thought it should be flexible. Upon another email they did send another bucket out to me after I stated that this small part falling apart is a choking hazard. The new bucket does the same thing, the wire comes right off with basic play. My daughter does enjoy the toy, but it cannot be used to it's full capacity.Customer Review: Christmas Disaster

We bought this toy for our daughters for Christmas and it did not even make it to them on Christmas morning before it started to fall apart. During assembly, two of the three nuts that are used to connect the parts of tree trunk together broke into multiple pieces. Just to give it to my daughters on Christmas morning, I spent several hours in the garage making my own repairs. The third nut only last for about two hours worth of play on Christmas morning before it broke into three pieces. Now I am stuck trying to find an unique nut so that I can put the toy back together after just a couple of hours of play. Maybe this was just a manufacturing problem with the batch of nuts included in the toy but I would not take a chance on another toy from this manufacturer.Customer Review: Easy to Assemble & A Lot of Fun

There are already a lot of good reviews posted here. I just wanted to chime in and say...
1. This was super-easy to assemble. All of the pieces have numbered stickers on them and the directions were clear. You don't need any extra tools either. I usually have to get help putting things together, but even I was able to assemble this with no problems!
2. You don't have to attach the cranes and buckets if you don't want to. My son is only 2 1/2 years old and I know that this toy is made for kids who are older. I'm saving the buckets, etc. for when he's bigger. The toy works perfectly well without the smaller parts.
3. My son LOVES this toy. He likes the dolls it came with, but it also works well with his pirate and Fischer Price figures

This tree house is wonderful! My 4 year old daughter and I are always having to use the pulley system to hoist barrels of pickles up to the hungry people in the upper decks. We bought another tree and the bridge that goes between them but I think the chair lift and gondola would be more fun. I will purchase those in the future. I have orderred Disney's A Swiss Family Robenson movie to give us more ideas for play themes. That might lead to buying Maxim's pirate ship which looks equally enchanting. It was no hardship to put this toy in our living room because it is almost like a piece of art (only a slight exageration) with an organic feel.
