She's just fine as she is. I also wish her wand would stay in her hand, but it doesn't so we just use a rubber band to hold it. And her clothing is typical of Barbie doll clothes made in China, (or wherever). Of course they'd last much longer if you don't take them on and off. It's really not a big deal as long as the children are playing with them. If you want her to stay in pristine condition leave it in the box and put her on a shelf!
Remember people, it's about the children using their imaginations while playing, not the parents micromanaging and perfecting every little detail of their lives. Overall, she's a beautiful Glinda and I would recommend her to a friend.
