A few words:
It's a good buy if you have kids in the 5 to 7 years range, they will enjoy it, not so much fun for adults, gets boring really quickly. I also played it on Xbox Live with other online players, it's slightly more entertaining since you spend time chatting with others without thinking too much about the game.

My mom didn't really like games that were this easy when I was a kid, so a couple weeks ago was the first time I played. My family played together and it was so much fun. The rules are very easy and since it's very luck based it makes it a great game to play with children. I have 2 teens and we had a blast playing. Definitely going to be a regular in our family game nights. I'm just surprised it took me so long to try it!
My husband did play a lot when he was younger with house rules, but we play with just the standard rules.

We brought out the UNO deck to see if our child (3 1/2) at the time would like to play... a week later and we were still playing 10 or more games a day and loosing more often than not. So don't let the age range stop you from enjoying the game with the younger kids. It is great to learn colors,number,fair play, turns, etc... We loved UNO as children and it has been a great experience playing it as a family.
There are lots of other versions of UNO and kids card packs but the original one is still the best.

I bought this card game MANY years ago when I watched my niece every Thursday after school for over 7 years. We loved it. Anyway, she is now 16 and when she stopped over the other day I asked if we could play a hand or two for old times sake and we did. I won 2 out of three and we had a lot of fun and a few good laughs as well. Anyone will love this good old fashioned "good clean fun game" It's a back to the basic's which is what I love. Recently I was re-introduced to the marvelous card game called "Uno". I love this game. My family used to play it all the time. I decided to order a deck. I am disappointed in the size and thinness of the cards. They also do not have the same graphics as the orignial game that I used to play, which is not a big deal but... Card size is small 3.5" X 2.25" compared to the "original" cards which were approx 5" X 7". I did find the original cards on another site and think I will be happier with these!
