Customer Review: Uno is the Same Game as Crazy-8s!

Uno is the exact same game as Crazy-8s, the classic card game played for years with a regular deck of playing cards. So, you don't actually need to purchase this deck of cards to enjoy this awesome game. Just look up the rules for Crazy-8's on the internet. And while you're at it, King's Corners and the "adult" version of Go Fish (also played with a regular deck) seem to appeal to the same age group of about age 5 to adult. And, by the way, I do love Uno/Crazy-8s and play it all the time with my kids. They learn matching, strategy, and, it's just lots of fun. I recommend it! P. I'm 14 and got this game when I was younger. I was struggling a little with math until I got this game. It helped me realize color and number patterns in such a fun way that I didn't even notice it! Since then I've been playing it at least once a week. I tutor young children and for those with math problems, I use the Uno game as a fun and educational tool. Parents have come to me and congratulated me with the successfullness of it. Its the ultimate game in a compact size. The cards last for a pretty long time. I've had one deck for the past 3 years and its still in tip top shape! So for anyone who plans to buy it, it's definately the RIGHT CHOICE!!!!Customer Review: As much fun today as it was 25 years ago

I first played this game nearly 25 years ago with neighbors and loved it. The game is simple and fun, yet there is an element of strategy involved in when you play the action cards. And like any great game, there has never been a single session when people weren't laughing and having a great time during play. Though it has been years since I first played this fun game, I returned to it recently and play it with my wife about once a week. Even with just two players, we have a great time. I purchased the Uno Original card game on Amazon for a mere $5.49. It has brought us hours of enjoyment. Great game.Customer Review: Still Fun

Uno was a great game when I was a kid and I still have fun when I play this game with my own children. You can make the game last as long as you like and you don't have to keep score which is nice when you are playing with younger children. The recommended age is 7 but I agree with other reviewers who've said that this game can be played with younger children. My children started as young as 3 1/2. It's a great opportunity for family time, practicing color recognition, number recognititon, counting, matching and turning taking. As a mother and prek teacher, I whole-heartedly recommend this game.Customer Review: Uno card game

We enjoy playing UNO very much. We are on the hunt to find a UNO deck that is just like the ORIGINAL deck. The original deck has the words on the cards spelled out, like: SKIP, REVERSE, DRAW 2, etc., instead of the symbols for the words. We thought we had finally found some through the ad we found on Amazon which said, THE ORIGINAL set. When we got the decks, they were just like the ones we already have and not the original ones UNO looked like with the words. So, if there is anyone out there that knows where we can find the ORIGINAL cards, please let me know.
