Customer Review: SUPER FANTASTIC!!!

I am only 11, so I've obviously never played the original version, but this is GREAT. I expected it to be almost puny, but it's big enough (though the original version was probably better because it's bigger and it made a whiz sound when their block gets knocked off).The only problem is that the blue bombers block gets knocked off a bit easier than the red rocker, but it's not a big deal. Overall it's an absolutely great game (but the original was probably twice as good!!).Customer Review: SUPER FANTASTIC!!!

I'm not sure who was more excited about this toy, my 8 year old son or his 53 year old father. The two of them have had more fun with this toy. My husband loved the fact that the box was just like the one he received back in the early sixties. This was the only toy my son requested for Christmas and I looked everywhere in town before finally finding it on Amazon. Even my 13 year old daughter will sit down and battle her brother or father. Great fun for the entire family.Customer Review: Boxing ring rope rip-off!

Bought this for my 3 and 4 year olds. It was very frustrating because the boxing ring rope kept popping out of the holes. Every 4th or 5th time you box and make a lot of movement, the rope comes right off and is tricky for kids, and even an adult, to get back on. It was so annoying, they didn't bother with it. We threw the game out.
I had this as a kid and don't remember this problem. Maybe it's the way they make them now. Save your money and get something else!

After reading the other reviews I was hesitent about buying this game, but I am so glad we did. My son and husband love this game. It was put together in no time and has stayed together without any problems. We have had no difficulties with either robot's head. Maybe they've made an improvement. As far as it not being as good as we remember, most things aren't. But my son has been having a blast and that is what we care about the most.
